A summer vacation RV park surrounded by rolling hills creates a truly relaxing environment. We are open May 1st to October 1st, weather dependent. Drive ups welcome. Picnic tables, large lawns, 20/30/50 amp plug ins, full water and sewer hook ups, large pull throughs 150 feet long on a level gravel surface. Shower and laundry building with private access. Close to Rapid City (8 miles from downtown), but away from the Interstate noise, off an asphalt paved road. We are centrally located to many attractions both to the North and South making us the perfect base camp for all your Black Hills Adventures. See our Activities page for more info. 

The Lazy JD RV Park is located on a flat meadow to create an ideal parking spot, with direct access to an asphalt road. There is no need for large amounts of blocking and leveling jacks. Once you pull in you are virtually level. The sites are arranged for easy pull throughs that are 150 feet long, and exits as shown on the map. The 20/30/50 amp breakers will handle the biggest electrical units. Early morning risers will see the deer feeding in the front area, along with wild turkeys.
